An exceptional dining experience involves more than great food. It also requires great atmosphere - and that's exactly what Red Oak Steaks and Wine owners Tom Katt and Lynne Wilzbacher have provided.
According to Katt, who has a background in conceptual design for restaurants and nightclubs, a successful restaurant requires three things. The first is a great place. Red Oak Steaks and Wine is paneled in warm, dark wood and boasts a bar area that is both welcoming and sophisticated. The dining room offers either table or booth seating and the fireplace lends a warm touch.
In 2007 Red Oak Steaks and Wine was chosen as the 5th Best Steakhouse in Minnesota by AOL City Guild. Additionally we were awareded a 5 Star status.
Lining the walls are autographed pictures of Country music performers, collected by Tom Katt who has been active with the WE Fest, one of the nation's largest Country music events, since its inception.
The second requirement is great food, and Tom calls his executive Chef, "amazing." Virtually everyone who has left here since we opened in March of 2005, has raved about the food, whether they had steak, seafood or wild game.
The final ingredient is phenomenal service. Red Oak Steaks and Wine will provide the kind of service diners expect from an exceptional dining restaurant.
"We're drawing people from all over the northern suburbs," Katt says, "including Forest Lake and North Oaks. We've had an unbelievable reception, and we look forward to serving more people who are looking for great food in a great place." |
